Privacy Policy

VAP Education LLC, doing business as VolumeAtPrice.com ("we," "us," "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to volumeatprice.com, our course platform, and anyone who visits our site, signs up for our email list, or purchases a course, coaching program, or other Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Contact information — name and email address, when you opt into our email list, enroll in a course, or contact us.
  • Purchase and billing information — the products you buy, transaction amounts and dates, and billing details. Full credit card numbers are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
  • Coaching information — scheduling details, session notes, and anything you share with us during coaching calls or in emails, to the extent needed to deliver the coaching Service.
  • Anything you submit — messages, survey responses, testimonials, or support requests you send us voluntarily.

Information collected automatically:

  • Analytics data — pages visited, referral source, device/browser type, approximate location (city/region level), and general usage patterns, via our analytics providers.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 4.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16, and the Services are not directed at children.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver the course, coaching, and other Services you've purchased, including account access and login.
  • Process payments and manage billing, renewals, and refunds.
  • Send you course-related communications, receipts, and — if you've opted in — marketing emails, newsletters, and updates.
  • Schedule and manage coaching sessions.
  • Understand how people use our site and improve it (aggregated/analytics use).
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, and we do not use your data to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with the service providers ("processors") who help us run the business, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

ProcessorPurpose
PodiaCourse hosting, delivery, and student account management
StripePayment processing and billing
Kit (ConvertKit)Email newsletters, sequences, and marketing communications
Plausible / Google Analytics (GA4)Website analytics
CalendlyScheduling for coaching sessions

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf. We choose providers that offer reasonable security and privacy commitments, but we encourage you to review their policies too.

We may also share information: (a) if required by law, subpoena, or legal process; (b) to protect the rights, property, or safety of VolumeAtPrice.com, our students, or the public; or (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information under the new owner.

We do not share information with advertisers for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we clearly disclose and offer an opt-out (see Section 6, CCPA/CPRA "Do Not Sell or Share").

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) for:

  • Essential functions — keeping you logged in, remembering cart/checkout state.
  • Analytics — understanding site traffic and behavior in aggregate (Plausible is cookie-free/privacy-friendly by design; if we use GA4, it sets analytics cookies).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some site functionality (e.g., staying logged in). We do not currently use third-party advertising/retargeting cookies; if that changes, we'll update this policy and provide a consent mechanism where required.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. As a general guide:

  • Account and purchase records: retained for the life of the account plus a period afterward to satisfy financial/tax recordkeeping requirements (typically several years).
  • Email marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Coaching session notes: retained only as long as reasonably needed to support your coaching engagement, then deleted or anonymized.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it, subject to backup and legal retention constraints.

6. Your Privacy Rights

If you're in the EU/UK/EEA (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data ("right to erasure"), subject to legal exceptions.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (e.g., marketing emails).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Our legal bases for processing are: performance of a contract (delivering courses/coaching you purchased), legitimate interests (site security, analytics, improving the Services), consent (marketing emails, certain cookies), and legal obligation (tax/accounting records).

If you're a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell personal information, and do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under CPRA.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information — we don't collect sensitive personal information beyond what's necessary for payment processing.
  • Non-discrimination — we won't deny you Services, charge you differently, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.

Exercising Your Rights

To make a request under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or any other applicable privacy law, email privacy@volumeatprice.com with your name, the email address associated with your account, and a description of your request. We'll verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 30–45 days). You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf where permitted by law.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including relying on processors (Stripe, Podia) that maintain industry-standard security certifications for payment and hosting data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers of data originating in the EU/UK/EEA.

9. Third-Party Links

Our site or course materials may link to third-party sites (e.g., TradingView, brokers, YouTube). We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of those sites — check their policies directly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the revised version with a new effective date, and for material changes, we'll notify active students and subscribers by email.

11. Contact Us
